Eliminate Crime

Eliminate Crime

Crime has increased across Colorado under one-party control of the executive branch, and families are paying the price. Communities that once felt safe are now dealing with rising violence, organized criminal activity, and a breakdown of public order. Coloradans should never feel the need to form neighborhood watch groups simply to protect their families and property, yet that is becoming reality in too many places. Republican and independent voters agree: crime is out of control, and it must be stopped. Our plan is straightforward — be tough on crime and fully support law enforcement. Police officers and sheriff’s deputies deserve the backing of the Governor’s Office, not hostility or political second-guessing.
As governor, I will:

  • End Colorado’s sanctuary-state policies
  • Allow and encourage cooperation between local law enforcement and federal ICE authorities to remove criminal illegal aliens
  • Restore consequences for repeat and violent offenders
  • Make public safety the top priority of state government

The governor sets the tone for law enforcement statewide. I will make it clear to every city police department and county sheriff: you will have the full support of the governor when you enforce the law and protect our communities.
Colorado must choose safety over chaos — and put victims and law-abiding citizens first.

RESTORE SAFETY AND ORDER FOR ALL COLORADANS.
FUND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND BACK THE BLUE.
Protect victims, not criminals.
